Process

Select the hide.

Cut to sizes.

Time to trim leather for design.

Collar cut to shape with centre marked out.

Remove centre.

Edge, dye and stitch mark collar.

Choose the tweed.

Pad the original removed centre, cover with tweed and sew into place.

Time to make the back padding and glue into place then clamp so stop any slipping, then stitch.

The finished piece.
